Hello beautiful people!

I have been practicing yoga for about 6 years now, on and off. In December, 2010 I lost my dad very suddenly to a very rare form of cancer. Prior to his death, on Thanksgiving Sunday, my grandmother who lived with us our entire lives died the same year . Following her death, we lost another grandmother on New Year’s Eve. Completely shattered, confused and “broken”, my entire mind and body shut down and my spiritual alignment was completely off. I found a yoga studio and began my healing journey. Yoga has helped me deal with the loss of my family members tremendously.

I stopped going to my practice regularly after I began work at a Private Career College in 2012. In September of last year, I left that toxic job that I had been in for almost 3 years. Due to the crazy demands of the work as a College Manager, I started to lose my healthy habits again. Working almost 12 hours 6-7 days a week started to take a toll on my mind, body and soul. I gathered the courage to walk away and pursue my passion of being an entrepreneur. The transitional phase of leaving a stable secure job and finding yourself and your purpose can be one of the scariest experiences of our lives. However, finding your passion and unique skills and talents is also the most rewarding experience you can gift to yourself! As I was working on finding my purpose and self again, a friend recommended Zenergy Yoga. I was delighted that it was in Scarborough and signed up. When I walked in, I was greeted with smiles by not just staff but everyone who regularly comes in to the studio! I have been to many studios throughout the GTA and Zenergy for me, is a sacred place where I found my Zen, strength and connection to my higher self again. My regular practice of yoga has brought me clarity, comfort, strength and the confidence I had lost in certain aspects of my life. I start my day with yoga right at 9:30am and end my evening with yoga from 6pm to 7pm! If you ever plan on doing anything for your self care, incorporate Zenergy Yoga into your life! To your ZEN!

Love and light,

Rohia Popal
